ESPN is leading the investigation into the blind eye schools turn towards athletes. I don’t expect everybody to be Myron Rolle, but this is ridiculous.
I knew of Jeremy Lin when he was in high school. He played at a local high school, and even with a team of no NCAA Division I scholarship players (correct me if I’m wrong), he managed to win the California state championships, against perennial powerhouses Mater Dei and company. ESPN has the rest of the story(book) career at Harvard. Including this must-see shot. (At #6)
Michael Jordan was not known to be Mr. Gracious. And he could get away with it. Because he was the greatest. Not saying it was right, but when you work that much harder than anyone else, people don’t mind your antics as much.
